口语是雅思四门考试当中中国考生较为头疼的一门，许多考生没有拿到理想中的分数，往往是载在口语上面。这既由口试本身的难度所决定，也是考生的备考不得力所造成。在教学当中(无论是基础班，还是强化班)，经常有同学问：雅思口试到底该怎么准备?参加完培训之后，我该做哪些事情?

雅思口语中期备考策略(考前3个月)

这是打基础的阶段。考生在这个阶段里，需要对雅思口试的形式、背景信息和知识等有一个基本的了解，比如口试常见的话题都有哪些?每一个话题之下，它都有哪些关键、必备的词汇和句式?除此之外，我们还应逐渐进入一种“讲英语”的状态，也就是让自己适应于讲英语的感觉，为后面的强化阶段做好准备。

雅思口语中期备考策略一：常见话题词汇的准备

口试对词汇的要求不是很高，基本上4千左右就可以了。但是，原来有4千词汇的人，碰到口试，未必能够准确、清晰地表达出自己的观点来。其中一个原因是，雅思口试某些话题的词汇可能是我们以前所不具备的。

比如Food这个话题，需要掌握的词汇就包括：某一菜名、常见烹饪方法(steam/ fry/ bake/ stew等)、ingredient(原料)、sanitary(卫生的)等。如果这些核心词汇不具备的话，碰到Food这个话题，恐怕会出现无话可说，或者想说说不出来的情况。因此考生有必要在考前3个月里，了解和掌握这些常见话题的核心词汇。雅思口试相关话题词汇在基础班里，老师都会进行梳理;此外，网络也是一个非常好的资源。

除了准备常见话题词汇外，我们还可以搜集一些基本的口语词汇和句子，反复练习，这样就做得更加全面了。

雅思口语中期备考策略二：让自己进入讲英文的状态

这是口试中期备考的重点，也是难点。由于许多考生平常过于关注读和写，造成听说，特别是说的能力弱化甚至丧失。许多同学在参加完培训之后，隔了一个很短的时间，就去应考了(如1个星期)。基础不错的同学没问题，可是基础差的考生，由于平常很少有讲英文的习惯，结果在考的时候磕磕巴巴，结果可想而知。因此，考前1-3个月的口语练习就显得非常重要。那我们该怎么练习呢?
