between neighbors， we help each other; colleagues， in addition to competition， everyone has even more made on the friendship of the first. everyone has to start with oneself， the protection of the surrounding environment. olympic atmosphere is diffuse in my home， parents have taken attention from the message of the olympic games， all brothers and sisters from time to time to talk about the various stories related to the olympic games.

everyone is on the olympic games has its own expectations， and i also believe that china will certainly be able to better organize the olympic games and win honor for our country !

hello, ladies and gentlemen. today, i am very glad to share my stories and opinions about animal protection.

at the beginning, let’s ask ourselves this question, what kind of pets have i had before? for me, they are cats, exclusively.

yeah, i am fond of cat. i almost spend my childhood with cat. i can still remember their silky fur, i can still heard their sweet voice. also, i can still touch their soft paws. they already become my family’s visible soul. but unfortunately, like the saying goes, curiosity kills cat. my last cat , with white fur, one light-green eye and the other pale yellow, left home and never to return. i can only believe that it is murdered by a butcher. and i cannot find the murderer, but i know god will punish him in the end.

not just cat, i like all kinds of animals. some are beautiful, some are peculiar. some are powerful, some are cute…… but somebody not. animals have been killed for their fur and

feathers, for food, for sport, and simply because they are in the way. these animals are turning into souvenirs, trinkets and ingredients, for ancient medicine and delicacy. attacks on tigers and elephants are multiplying at an alarming rate. species around the globe such as dolphins are endangered. i cannot conceive the moment that our children look at the animals on video only and see the animals’ specimens in museum only, even to touch the animals, frozen body only.

while someone do not care that! i don’t know, and i can’t believe. why they are so greedy? why they are so cruel? why there are so many sly old devils? they are cold-blooded, they don’t understand my heart is wrung out after noticing my lovely cat is missing and may well be killed.

i’m a student yet i know we are all part of a family, six billion strong, in fact, 30 million species strong and we all share the same air, water and soil, people and governments will never change that. our world will be a less beautiful place without them.

if don’t know how to help them, please stop hurting them.

if don’t know how to care them, please stop maltreating them.

if don’t know how to protect them, please, please stop killing them.

believe me, and believe you. by working together, we can make a difference. no sale no killing, when buying stops, the killing can too.

personally，i am very like animals，beacause i think all the creatures are our friend。

i like lion ，leopard ，tiger，wolf，dog and so on。

i like them especially when they running free，i felt so cool when they running。

lion is my favourite animal ，cause they are strength，powerful and brave ，but quite cute some time。

i dont like snake，i feel afraid and sick of them，indeed ，i thought them is very fearful。

anyway ，i do hope people dont hurt any kinds of animal and be remember ：animal is our friend。 we should protect them and take care of them。

Many animals are in danger of dying out. As is shown in the chart, we can see the number of animal species decreases faster and faster and this trend will continue. From 1980 to 2010, at least 1 million animal species have disappeared. Worse still, more and more wild animals are in great danger. It is not a piece of sensational news; it is a fact, a harsh reality. Unfortunately, we may not see these animals in the near future.

很多动物频临灭绝的危险。图表显示，我们可以看到动物物种数量下降的速度越来越快，而且这种趋势将会持续下去。从1980年到2010年，至少有100万动物物种已经消失。更糟糕的是，越来越多的野生动物处于巨大的危险中。这不是一则耸人听闻的新闻，这是一个事实，一个残酷的事实。不幸的是，将来我们可能看不到这些动物了。

From the second picture, we can find some reasons. Why is the number of animal species declining year by year? Apparently animals have become victims of fashion industry. Animal skin has been used to make fashionable clothes and these clothes sell at a high price. So some greedy people begin to kill animals in a large quantity. This irresponsible behavior not only breaks the balance of nature but also endangers the living environment of human beings.

从第二幅图我们可以找到一些原因。为什么动物物种的数量一年年的减少呢?显然，动物成为了时尚工业的受害者。动物的皮被用来做时髦的衣服，而且这些衣服都是高价出售。因此，一些贪婪的人就开始大量屠杀动物。这种不负责任的行为不仅打破了自然的平衡，而且使人类居住环境陷入危险。

As far as I am concerned, something must be done to stop this illegal action. We believe "no buying, no killing". First, we must make concerning laws to protect these animals in danger. Second, we must take some measures to protect animals effectively. Animals are our friends and part of our environment. Third, we should raise people's awareness to protect animals and our environment. In this way, we can build a harmonious society and ensure a sustainable development.

在我看来，我们必须要做些什么来阻止这种违法行为。我相信“没有买，就没有杀”。首先，我们必须制定有关法律来保护这些处于危险中的动物。其次，我们必须采取一些措施有效的保护动物。动物是人类的朋友，也是我们环境的一部分。再次，我们应该提高人们保护动物和环境的意识。这样一来，我们就可以建立一个和谐的社会，确保其可持续发展。

Panda is so lovely that brings fun to people and they are regarded as the treasure of our country. Unfortunately，such a rare species is now faced with the danger of being extinct。What I am eager to do is to raise people’s awareness of animal protection and appeal to more people to care for our earth companies.

我认为，没有什么能够像关心动物一样让我快乐。不管我去到哪里，在做些什么，我会时刻牢记动物是来自天堂的天使，带给我们无尽的舒适和快乐。我从小开始就是一名熊猫爱好者。熊猫是如此可爱，给人们带来乐趣，而且它们是我国的国宝。不幸的是，这种稀有物种现在正频临灭绝的危险。我想要做的是提高人们保护环境的意识，呼吁更多的人关心我们地球的伴侣。
